DESCRIPTION:Prof. Periklis Andritsos (Univ, Toronto)\nFree participation via MS Teams (link)\nslides: pdf\nvideo: link\nVisuEL (demo paper): site\nCJM-ex (video): link\nAbstract: Customer Journey Mapping helps to tell the story of customers’ experiences when they consume certain services. They consist of sets of events, called touchpoints that follow one another and come with attributes associated with them. In this talk we will explore how data science, and in particular Process Mining, can be combined with Customer Journeys to offer useful insights, from segmentation all the way to prediction.\nAbout the speaker: Periklis Andritsos is a faculty member at the Faculty of Information of the University of Toronto. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA, Greece. He also holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto. He has taught in Canada and Europe (Italy, Switzerland) and has co-founded two start-up companies, Thoora.com and Odaia.ai. He works in the area of data management, data analytics, structure discovery and customer journey analytics. He has been awarded two best paper awards and he holds 3 industrial patents.\n
